With the wind capacity expansion investments carried out at our Uşak Wind Power Plant (WPP), our total installed capacity has reached 1,210 MW. Through this strategic investment, we have also raised our wind energy installed power to 268.5 MW.
We are resolutely continuing our growth in renewable energy through our wind capacity expansion investments. Following the commissioning of our 6 MW turbine at Uşak WPP in June 2025, we successfully operationalized two more turbines in August, each with a capacity of 6 MW. With the addition of two new turbines commissioned as part of our ongoing investments in 2026, we have raised our total installed capacity to 1,210 MW.
Our capacity expansion investments at Uşak WPP not only increases our installed power but also makes significant contributions to environmental and social benefits. With this 30 MW capacity increase, it is projected that approximately 100 million kWh of clean energy will be generated annually in addition to the plant's existing production. Thanks to this production volume—which corresponds to the annual electricity needs of approximately 37,500 households—the prevention of nearly 50,000 tons of carbon emissions per year is targeted.
Evaluating our capacity expansion investments, Aydem Renewables Our General Manager Uğur Yüksel highlighted the strategic importance of the project, stating: “We are delighted to reach yet another significant milestone in contributing to our country’s energy transformation. The capacity increase at Uşak WPP is a powerful indicator of our commitment to renewable energy and our long-term growth vision. With this investment, our total installed power has risen to 1,210 MW, and our wind installed capacity to 268.5 MW. Guided by our dedication to clean and sustainable energy production, we will continue to expand our investments and contribute to our country's energy independence. In the coming months, we plan to commission an additional 6 MW turbine as part of the Uşak capacity expansion.
